This month’s AEE Huntsville Chapter meeting will focus on ISO 50001 and what it means for energy professionals working across federal facilities, manufacturing, and campus environments right now.

We’ll introduce the DOE 50001 Ready recognition pathway, share a short overview video, and open discussion around the AEE Certified ISO 50001 Practitioner credential and how structured energy management is starting to shape the next phase of project credibility, compliance alignment, and career growth across our region.

We are also using this session to gauge member interest in potentially hosting an in-person ISO 50001 Certified Practitioner training course here in Huntsville in future years alongside, or between, our traditional CEM offerings. Your participation will help the chapter decide whether bringing this opportunity locally makes sense for our community.

If ISO 50001 has been on your radar, this is the right meeting to help shape what comes next for Huntsville.
